  Call RACQ the next day. They come over, jumpstart the car and all things are good. The RACQ person recommends I change the battery.

  I feel like I paid someone to hop in my car and tell me they can't hear a squeak. There was no previous mention of an inspection fee if the problem was not found. Seriously not good guys. Nice people there but just don't fix your car. Won't be going there again!

  When I booked in my 2006 Toyota aurion a week previous I asked if Friday 1:30pm was ok, and I was asked to bring it in for 1pm as soon as I can. I managed to leave work a little earlier so they could get it out the way. However when I came back three hours later they still HAD NOT EVEN LOOKED AT IT. I then got a message an hour later saying the car was finished. They didn't find the squeaking noise and charged me $58 for an inspection fee (just for someone to say they couldn't find the squeak) after I told them it doesn't always do it. I gave them video evidence showing them the squeaking!

  I would understand if they couldn't find it, but the fact they rushed me from my work to not even look at it till 3 and 1/2 hours later is OUTRAGEOUS! This costs me time and money.

  I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to go there to get a squeaking noise looked at which I thought may be a wheel bearing, I provided VIDEO EVIDENCE of the squeaking as sometimes the car won't do it. I also had to get a tyre fixed as it had a screw in it. (Which fair enough was $32)

  I call them to complain and they claim having checked the battery. They send over a guy to jump start the car. The guy says the battery is fine and jumpstarting didn't work. It had to be a "sinister electrical problem".

  If your looking for somewhere to get your car fixed, AVOID THIS PLACE! I went there several months ago to tell them my hand break wouldn't hold properly, and after telling me they adjusted the cable so it would hold, it still didn't.
